VOLUNTEER WITH FBC KIDS

We love and appreciate all of our families at FBC Portland! At every baby dedication, our church family commits to intentionally investing in and discipling your children. If you want to be a part of this commitment to the next generation, then check out the volunteer opportunities we have available in FBC Kids.

Current Volunteer Positions:

Check-In - Welcome families with a smile and assist them with the check-in process. Our check-in volunteers ensure that every person who visits our Kids department has an excellent first impression and that all FBC safety policies are followed. The time commitment for check-in is about 30-45 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.

Curriculum + Set-Up Team - Work behind the scenes helping the FBC Kids leadership prepare lessons. This includes organizing and cutting out materials; as well as, cleaning and organizing classrooms. As far as time commitments, this is a flexible option that allows you to volunteer throughout the week or even from home.

Student Training - Teens under the age of 18 may serve under the supervision of an adult leader in a variety of FBC Kids roles. These opportunities range from assisting teachers to helping with Curriculum or Set-Up.

Nursery Volunteer - The Nursery Leaders primary role is to care for infants and young toddlers by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment.
