Our ministry has a role for you! Whether it’s greeting students with a warm smile or doing something behind the scenes, you could make a huge and lasting impact on the next generation for the glory of God.

At First Baptist, we strive to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who encounters our student ministry. Because of this, there are a few things we require of every volunteer:

  • Comply to (and pass) a background check.

  • Be an FBC member for at least three months.

  • Abstain from alcohol during their season of serving.

  • Sign our Volunteer Handbook.

For any questions about serving FBC Students, please contact our Mike Byrd at mike@fbcportland.org.
